Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is an evidence-based medical approach to treating chronic kidney disease (CKD) with a comprehensive nutrition evaluation conducted by a Registered Dietitian (RD). The goal of Medical Nutrition Therapy is to prevent, delay, or manage progression of diseases such as CKD.  Kidney Specialists of New Mexico offers comprehensive care for chronic kidney disease including MNT classes.
